Zimbabwe’s Hunting Season

There is not a traditional “hunting season” as is with hunting in the United States.

In Zimbabwe, hunting is done 12 months of the year, however the climate is warm and wet during the summer months, which are November to March.  Recall that the seasons are opposite in the southern hemisphere.  Basis the warm and wet months, most hunters prefer April through October for their safaris and most would agree that these months are optimum.
