Siberian Roe Deer

Siberian Roe Deer hunting is a very popular trophy hunt in Russia with both locals and foreigners. This hunt will normally attract between 100 to 150  foreign hunters during the two week period starting the last week of August thru the first week of September.

The Kurgan Region of Russia is known as the area offering the best Roe Deer hunting basis the strong numbers concentrated in this area.  ProfiHunt accesses the premier areas in the Kurgan Region where the majority of the record trophies have been taken, thus enhancing your ability to take a record trophy.  A five day hunt is recommended to take 2-3 trophies.

This hunt can be combined with a European Moose hunt in early October.

Getting to the Hunting Area

The most convenient and reliable way to get to your hunting destination is by Lufthansa via Frankfurt. Reason being there is a direct flight from Frankfurt to Yekaterinburg, where you will be met by ProfiHunt’s representative who will assist you in the customs formalities.  You will then be transferred by car to the hunting area; a trip which will take between 3 to 5 hours, depending on the area you will be hunting in.

Hunting Camps

The camps are comfortable hunting lodge, motel or cabins and are based on double occupancy.  All are clean, warm, and you will experience good home style food and quality service.

The maximum number of hunters per camp is four, however ProfiHunt can accommodate up to twenty hunters during the same time.

Hunting Methods

All hunting is done on foot with jeeps used to transport you to the hunting areas.

Spot and stalk is normally used to pursue your trophy, however the age old practice of calling the Roe Bucks is also practiced with a high degree of success as well.  Walking is not difficult since most of the hunting areas are well developed, relatively flat, agriculture fields.
